Eaton Corp. said Friday that it expects another year of earnings growth in 2022.

The power-management company said it expects earnings per share to be between $6.05 and $6.45, compared with $5.34 in 2021.

On an adjusted basis, EPS is expected to be between $7.30 and $7.70, which excludes the effects of acquisition and divestiture charges, restructuring program charges and intangible amortization expenses in the year, it said.

In 2021, adjusted EPS rose to $6.62 from $4.91 a year prior.

For the first quarter of 2022, the company said it expects EPS to be between $1.24 and $1.34, which after adjustments are expected to be between $1.55 and $1.65.
