Banks and other financial institutions must report annually on financial accounts held directly or indirectly by US individuals. Financial institutions are committed to full compliance with FATCA in all countries where they do business. Therefore, we will review existing customers to confirm the client's FATCA status. If necessary, we may need to know the customer from time to time, including asking the customer to provide more detailed information and documents.
